Moving First
Kendo speaks of sen, the initiative, and of sen no sen, seizing it at the very instant an opponent begins to move. Wind tears at the plume and sleeves as this warrior surges forward, every stroke of paint swept the same way. Initiative belongs to those who act while others are still deciding.

Red and Blue Ripped by the Wind
Sweeping horizontal strokes of crimson and cobalt tear across a cream ground, broken by dry-brush texture and spattered ink. The black silhouette of armor and helmet dissolves at its edges into the same streaks, so figure and wind seem made of a single motion.

Movement for a Teen's Room
A teenager's bedroom with pale walls and light wood lets the strokes race across the room, and a family room with a skateboard or two leaning by the door is another good fit. Hesitate, and the moment is gone.
